Born and raised in Seminole, Florida, I am a small town guy with big dreams of telling the stories I want to tell. Growing up in Florida, the opportunities have been endless for me with the activities and opportunities that have come my way. I have traveled and competed around the country with the Seminole High School Marching Band and written memoirs about past and present players that have been on the school's baseball team. Journalism has become a passion of mine because of the storytelling. It has allowed me to see and tell about the world through different perspectives; not just a one-dimensional point of view. I am hoping to take the skills that I have learned and apply them to a career in either broadcast or multimedia journalism. I would also like to be able to one day write a novel.
As a graduate of the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg, I have enjoyed my time learning about journalism through the minds of some of the most gifted professors. I hope to return for further learning in graduate school and continue working on a long passion of mine, radio.
