Twenty-four bands from around Pinellas and Hillsborough County competed in the 37th Annual Seminole Sound Spectacular at Seminole High School on Oct. 5.  competition.  The Tarpon Springs Outdoor Performance Ensemble was crowned Grand Champion and 1st Place in AAAA-Platinum Division with an overall score of 84.80. They also took home top prize for Best Brass, Auxiliary, Drum Major, Woodwinds and Percussion in the AAAA-Platinum Division. As hosts, The Seminole Warhawk Marching Band performed during the event but did not compete. They performed their 2013 field show "What Goes Around." Above left, pictured from left are flute players Clair Hansen, Paige Jawors and Leslie Laperriere. Above right, Color Guard member, Kaylyn Fox, performs with the Seminole Warhawk Marching Band.

The ability to disassemble the knife for cleaning is a feature that some users find beneficial. This allows for thorough cleaning of the blade and handle, removing debris and preventing bacteria buildup. A clean knife is not only safer to use but also extends the life of the tool.
