In an astounding and heart racing game against the Seminole Warhawks and St. Petersburg Green Devils, the Warhawks pulled an astounding victory of 44 to 37. The last time the Warhawks faced the Green Devils, they suffered a 53-40 loss. Tonight redemption came as they were able to lead each period with only a small point advantage. This win for the Warhawks puts them in a five game winning streak. This also ties them for 1st place in the 7A District 10 basketball standings and they remain in 6th place in the state of florida in the Florida Division 7A standings. Warhawks baseketball Coach Josh Walker stated that this is one of the biggest wins of the season for the Warhawks. The Warhawks basketball team will be competing in the Keith MacCollom Memorial Shootout on Saturday Januray 19th at 7 pm against Sunlake High School from Land O'Lakes, FL. Seminole's next district home game is against Largo High School on Tuesday, January 29th at 7 pm.
